Jasmine Mbye, the founder of the Bedfordshire-based The Like Me Community Interest Company, hopes to impact thousands more women worldwide. She uses her 15 years of experience as an international speaker, trainer, and coach to help women and teen girls rebuild their confidence and feel powerful, often after years of being made to feel worthless by their abuser. Her Community Interest Company offers courses, workshops, counselling, and staging two annual conferences.
As a survivor of abuse both as a child and in a 15-year marriage, Jasmine draws on her own journey to help other women recognise their strengths and gain the skills they need to rebuild their lives.
As an empowerment speaker and trainer, Jasmine has reached hundreds of women with her events and public speaking, including a Bedford TEDx talk. She has also partnered with the NHS Bedfordshire Recovery College and other organisations helping women develop personal leadership and enhance their employability and well-being.
